Wigtown is the National Book Town for Scotland and has bookshops for all, ideal for a rainy day. A short walk from the front door is a bird hide for migration watching. Jump in the car and a short drive takes you to Galloway Forest Park with mountain biking trails and hill walking and the Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park.
We are located close to several popular attractions including Cream of Galloway, Threave Garden, and opening in 2021 the Dark Space Planetarium.
