Orchard Cottage offers spacious, comfortable and environmentally friendly living for a family or friends. Situated close to Wigtown, Scotland’s book town, and the lovely sandy beaches of Garlieston.

We’ve made the cottage as green as possible. We built from the original stone, and added a super-insulated internal frame, under-floor heating, sun tunnels, energy saving appliances and environmentally friendly features that don’t compromise your comfort. The cottage is child friendly and provides easy access to those who need it.
 

The courtyard garden has seats for enjoying the night sky, or late afternoon sun and is fenced for children’s safety. There is off-road parking.
