Get away to Galloway – you have the choice of three lovely cottages. Orchard Cottage sleeps six in an eco-friendly converted barn in rolling countryside with sea views nearby. Or opt for Ravenstone Mains Cottage and Ravenstone Stables, which each sleep four, with a large garden in a woodland setting and a pirate ship for swashbuckling adventures!

Situated at the heart of the Machars in between Wigtown and Whithorn we are perfectly placed to offer you a base to explore Scotland’s best kept secret.  Nearby there are sheltered sandy beaches and great days out for the kids, cycling options from quiet roads to the challenging 7 stanes course, excellent fishing and golfing, the UK’s first Dark Sky Park - young or old there is something for everyone.

All the cottages have wood-burning stoves and are furnished to a high level of comfort.  In cases of rainy days they are also equipped with a selection of games, books, videos, etc.  We also offer an affordable babysitting service for those wanting a quiet night out.   We regret that we do not take pets.
